You receive comment everyday and most of the people said that your blog is suck. Will you quit blogging? Most of the people who blog for money will quit. It’s norm. By the way, why must you quit?

Determine The Problem

People likes to talk bad about other people and yet they even don’t have a blog. Every comment is useful for you to determine what are the mistakes that you do. If you write for money then you better stop. If you write because of your passion to write, you will stay longer because you just don’t care of what people said and do.

Try to analyze every comment made by your readers. Some readers read your blog simply because to check what are the new things that you wrote. This type of visitors normally will comment hard on your writing. Who cares? Some people read your blog because they love the way you write. Others, they stumbled upon your blog from the other link.

Most of the problems are:

1. You write in a bad language, grammar error and you don’t proof read your article before you hit the publish button
2. You write about your boring personal routine stuff-You eat at TGI, you eat at Shogun, you bought new clothes
3. There is no graphics in the post (I’m doing this mistakes)
4. You are very stingy to link out to others (Except your blog being penalized by Google or Google might not index it)
5. You write for search engine instead to your readers

1. Consist of 200 words and below
2. Super duper long and boring

Personally according to some research, most of the people likes to read the short paragraph and bullet points. People tend to leave your blog fast if they see the blog post is too long to read. One major mistakes that blogger did :

Misused the “more”/”read more” function

If I stumbled upon a blog which use the more and read more function to every post of his/her blog, I will close and read other blog. People tend to misuse the more and read more function simply because they love to get more and more impressions.

Do you think that everybody has the fast internet connection to load the page twice? People are lazy to wait especially people in the South East Asia and Africa country. These country has not implemented the fast internet connection so you must consider this traffic too. (Do you know that xBrain received a lot of visitors from Africa especially South Africa and Nigeria?)

Do not abuse the  more function to every post, keep it minimum. Use the more function if only the blog post is long.
