After reading one article published by Bernama, I might say Martrade had done a very good job to help boosting the export volume and helps bringing more money to come into Malaysia.
With the slowdown of the Green Bucks, major Asian currencies are starting to soar. If the small business that never been involved in the overseas expo, please start to think about it. By investing some money to participate in the expo, you can get more and more order apparently will increase the sales and revenue.
In Japan, Malaysian companies which participated in FOODEX Japan 2008, the number one Food & Beverage event in East Asia and the third largest show in the world, secured sales of RM8.32 million.
The specialised event for food and beverage products was held at the Nippon Convention Centre in Chiba, Japan from March 11-14, said MATRADE in a statement Thursday.
That just for Japan. How about the growing third world country like Bangladesh :
MATRADE also led 12 Malaysian companies to participate in a trade fair called Showcase Malaysia on March 20-22 in Dhaka.
These companies secured RM7.06 million in sales orders from Bangladeshi companies.
“Furthermore, Malaysian companies can leverage on Bangladesh as a gateway to neighbouring markets such as Nepal and Bhutan,” it added.
So thinking about nor participating in such expo? Think it twice. Start to convert your off line business to an online business to earn more money. Happy selling.
