Forget boring, gender-neutral rooms with that flimsy, wooden comb in the amenities kit that no modern, savvy woman would be caught dead using. These hotels know exactly what women want – luxurious, comfortable and safe accommodation.
The Fleming, Hong Kong
The hotel launched its dedicated ladies-only floor in February. Aptly named Her Space, its female-friendly rooms boast stylishly feminine décor that features extra soft and furry cushions, silk draperies and a fur rug. Extra flourishes include L’Occitane toiletries, a jewellery box, a leg massage machine and a facial steamer. Even the in-room mini bar has been stocked with herbal teas and healthy snacks for female road warriors watching their waistline.

The St. Regis Shanghai
When you just wanna have fun, head to the St. Regis Shanghai’s three ladies-only floors. Fashion and lifestyle magazines enjoy pride of place in rooms, as do Bvlgari bath products, fresh flowers, hair clips, hair brushes and even silk hangers. The hotel also thoughtfully assigns female butlers to guests on the ladies-only floors.

Hotel Mulia Senayan, Jakarta
The Ladies Floor boasts L’Occitane beauty products, dedicated flower arrangements, turn down aromatic fragrances and is serviced by female staff. A female butler is at hand 24 hours a day and if you decide to engage in some retail therapy, a shopping butler is available on request. Not a bad idea, since the hotel is near popular shopping malls.
