I am using Feedburner to handle all my RSS thingy. My subscribers are not that good. While browsing friend’s blog a little while ago, my eyes stuck at this one article on how to Increase your RSS readers. The writer was giving the good analysis which can be said as complete review and implementing the strategy is a good thing but a bit evil.

I will summarize the step and procedures in easy way :

By default, Firefox has the “network.prefetch-next” variable set to true. When set to true, this tells Firefox to prefetch any links that a web page tells it to. So by adding a little HTML tag to my blog, I was able to tell all these Firefox browsers to prefetch my Feedburner feed. Essentially, this gets the visitor’s browser to click on and load my feed in the background without their knowledge. Here’s the code to place in the section of your site:

Do replace the ‘Xbrainbiz’ with your own feedburner ID
