I just saw someone had translated for him in English. Namewee had its own translation in Malay. Metro reporter has xbrain. He offended all Malaysian. He mispresented to all Malay. If you dun believe, ask your friend who know chinese to translate for you lah….

   Yes Malaysian Chinese, you are rite at certain point but you should have read the comments also, somebody has put the translation already.

   He is a good decent boy but the way he manipulating the song is not good. National anthem is a song that we should treat will all respect. I know he loves this country but he made a big mistake and I hope that he learned something from it.

   Btw, he is glamor rite now and this is all what he wanted to be..

   Agreed with xBrain that national anthem is not something to make fun of. This Namewee ought to have more common sense and maturity to know what is right or wrong. Doesn’t matter if the lyrics reflect any truths about the way of life in Malaysia or not. The important thing is there are alot of ways to have fun but not the national anthem. It is something to be respected.

    Do you know why he is not charged? becoz that is not the national anthem. He merely took the bits of the song loop to construct his own. In fact his song is so different that he cannot even being charge plagarism. I dont think i need to tell you how many % is similiar. and in fact he did sang his disclaimer as well, check the durian phrase.

    I agree with xBrain. “Tepuk dada tanya sendiri.”

    Malay should stand strong when accept critism, not shouting, crying for mama’s milk everytime. If you dun get bored, I also get bored.

    Hampir semua nyanyian namewee adalah betul kecuali isu agama. Tapi tanya lah diri sendiri pernahkah anda mempertikaikan agama lain?? Tepuk dada tanya selera….. Kenapa tak sedar lagi wahai orang melayu?? Bangsa Cina telah beri org Melayu banyak peluang untuk maju ke hadapan. Dari bermula lah “Hak Orang Melayu” diadakan sampailah ke hari ini? Orang Melayu selalu dapat lebih dari bangsa lain di negara kita seperti beli rumah mendapat diskaun, kuota2 dalam pendidikan dan peniagaan. Jika nak kata bangsa Melayu masih munduh, itu tidak benar sekali.Kalau nak dibandingkan dengan bangsa India di Malaysia, mereka lagi bernasib malang. Dan kenapa tiada “hak orang india” diadakan?? Fikir-fikirkan lah.

    we have to remember the history.. the origin of Malaysia… It’s Tanah Melayu.. which means the original / owner of the land is Malays.. we can never change that. it’s the fact.. Only then the Chinese was brought into Tanah Melayu by The British Colonial..

    People… there are a lot of things we can say or do in our free country.. but please do respect others.. Where is our Budi Bahasa.. There are multi racial in Malaysia.. Don’t Namawee ever think of the implications of his doing…

    Namewee did not modify Negaraku, he din change the lyrics. Is just that he mix another rap song into the negaraku. 2 in 1.Haven’t u seen Siti Nurhaliza or some Malay celeb sing Negaraku in remix? why didn’t it considered a unpatriotic act?

    For ur info. Negaraku’s music is composed by a French Music composer in the 18th century. The music tone was adopted 1st by an England town, second to Malaya, Indonesia, and USA (MAMULA MOON).

    Xbrain, u tell me. In any part of his content in the song is wrong?
    - U dare to tell me police not corrupted?
    - U dare to tell me the Azan did not disturb the non-muslim neighbourhood?(Note that Malay always say they very generous and tolerant,u call this tolerant a?)
    - U dare to tell me the government servant adopt efficiency and hardworking attitude?
    - U dare to tell me the Malaysia government didn’t discriminate the Chinese society?

    Its been a norm that the malays are treated as special in this country. In the eyes of the cina dan india, how long are they going to sponsor this special treatment ? Cina dan india pun faham bahawa kalau mana-mana bangsa yang tertinggal didalam ekonomi dan social status, patutlah di beri pertolongan. So now after 50yrs……siapa yang tertinggal ?? So the malays should be thankful and appreciate the 50yrs of sponsorship by bangsa bukan bumiputra. Look at comments and opinion from other bangsa in a more positive way and respect. They dun comment or criticize for no reason. Kalau terbalik dimana orang cina atau india yang ada special treatment selama 50tahun, apakah reaksi orang bumi akan terjadi ???
    Tepuk dada, tanya selera lagi……tak payah la. Sudah cukup perbualan. Buatlah perkara yang boleh memanfaatkan semua orang …tak kira bangsa atau parti.
