Hi MAS staff out there..Smile !! They will get a bigger paycheck this month. They will get a half month salary or RM 1,000 which one is higher. If you guys have friends working with MAS, then it will be the time for you to get close to them as possible. Ask for a “makan makan”.. KUALA LUMPUR, July 20 (Bernama) — Employees of Malaysia Airlines will receive a special bonus payment of half month salary or RM1,000, whichever is higher, this month.

The payment was recommended by its Special Task Force (STF) on Performance-based Remuneration.

In a statement today, the company said to qualify for the bonus, employees must fulfill certain criterias set out by STF.

Its managing director/chief executive officer Datuk Idris Jala said it recognised the importance of teamwork within the company and the bonus was made due to the improved performance and in recognition of staff contribution to its Business Turnaround Plan to-date.

“At the end of the year, depending on how well we have done financially, we will seriously consider an additional bonus payment,” he added.
