Care to get a free domain for you new blog? If you want to blog seriously, please don’t use the free hosting. Free hosting like blogspot, wordpress, myspace, friendster and etc are not good enough seems that you have the limitation to earn money with blogging. Previously I used the wordpress, blogpsot and blogmas for blogging. The major disadvantages is they don’t allowed you to put JavaScript. The advertisement placement also good without interfere my reading. Calvyn should alter his page tab on the upper part of his blog seems the wording is out of the bar.

Finish about the blog setup. Now we go to check his popularity. This 5 months old blog has a loyal 33 readers. I’m a 6,591 visitor so far as this post is being written. Out of 100% visitors so far, 44% of them are unique. It’s a nice stat that he is using by Bravenet. Gain the authority 45 from Technorati and rank number 131,995 most popular blogs in the world. Alexa ranking of 370,703 so far from Alexa, checked via alexa toolbar. Did not any pagerank from google and I will expect at least pagerank of 3 when Google revise the PageRank in this coming month.

About the loading time, it is slow in term of the sidebar loading time. Calvyn should check with the Pingdom.com tools. I suspected that the nuffnang advertisement makes the loading time very slow. One suggestion of mine that Calvyn should not put so much advertisement on the sidebar because it looks so congested. Don’t angry ya !!
