Telegraphic Transfer With Maybank2u

This is the sample form from Maybank2u. I did this Telegraphic Transfer to the Capital Market Services LLC New York.

The form is easy to fill in. But do remember, when you want to fill in the Beneficiary Telephone Number, please put in the local telephone number without put in the country and district codes. I have this problem when I put in the country codes and the district codes.

If you don’t know the swift code of your destination bank, don’t worry, Maybank will not ask you about the swift code. They do it automatically, I guess. What impressed me is, I did the telegraphic or wire transfer at 3.30pm +8 GMT time and guess what, my beneficiary received the money on 9.00pm +8 GMT time, the same day.

The question is : When I do the telegraphic transfer via the counter, the fund or the money received at the beneficiary account the next 3 business days. Why when I did the telegraphic transfer via Maybank2u the money can be received by the beneficiary at the same day?

If you have any idea on this, please do share it here. Or you work for the bank, please advice me on this.

i just want to share ths matter:
im the beneficiary of the fund….i got the same information that i will received the fund within 3 days working days..i also dunno why it is the condition..but they told me that its the procedure that the fund will b e transfered not less or withnin 3 days

I would like the bank swift code for Maybank branch for &th Mile, Kuching Sarawak. Do you have any idea? Or is Maybank using one standard bank swift code? Do you know the swift code? I really need your help. Thank you.
